The individual certifications
Compliance management systems: Handling risk professionally
ISO 37301 is an international standard that establishes guidelines for the use of compliance management systems. Such systems help organisations to identify, understand and respond to risk. Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries are certified under ISO 37301.
Anti-corruption: Measures and prevention
ISO 37001 is the sister standard to ISO 37301. It focuses on the specific compliance risk posed by corruption and measures to combat this. Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries are certified under ISO 37001.
CSR activities: Environmental protection and sustainability issues
ONR 192500 from Austrian Standards International defines substantive requirements for a CSR management system. It confirms that our Group integrates societal concerns, environmental concerns, and sustainable business operations into its activities.
ECA RG Framework: Responsible gaming
Certification under the ECA (European Casino Association) Responsible Gambling Framework by the independent Austrian Standards International confirms that Casinos Austria acts in line with the latest responsible gaming standards and consistently works to combat illegal gambling.
EL Certification Framework: Transparency and player protection
Certification under the EL (European Lotteries) Certification Framework by the independent Austrian Standards International confirms that Austrian Lotteries provides 'Responsible Gaming', i.e. (and in particular) that its games are offered in a safe and transparent environment and that protecting players is its main focus.
WLA RG Framework: Against illegal gambling
The WLA (World Lottery Association) is dedicated to responsible gaming and the unrelenting fight against illegal gambling. Austrian Lotteries are certified to level 4, the WLA's highest level. This means it is one of the first providers of games of chance to reach this standard at the highest level.
Data protection with 'GoodPriv@cy': Secure data handling
GoodPriv@cy, the international quality seal for data protection, is awarded by IQNet and the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS). It confirms that our Group handles personal data safely and securely and our actions comply with underlying data protection legislation. In turn, the information security required under data protection legislation is ensured via corresponding organisational, personal and technical measures.
Information security: Maximum confidentiality
The organisation and measures taken by Austrian Lotteries in terms of information security are certified by SQS according to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 information security standard, in line with the 'Security Control Standard' published by the WLA. This guarantees the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
Quality management: Audited annually
Casinos Austria's quality management system is certified by SQS in line with the international EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. Each year, an external audit is made to verify that the company's processes are perfectly aligned and that it is upholding its obligation of taking a conscious approach to opportunities, risks and the potential impact on guests, partners and suppliers of all its activities.
Pro-Ethik seal: Austrian Advertising Council
Casinos Austria has been certified with the Austrian Advertising Council's Pro-Ethik seal. Based on the code of ethics from Austria's advertising industry, a company undertakes that its advertising activities will comply with quality criteria for ethics and morality that are defined by the advertising industry and exceed legal requirements in this area.

Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries have been certified by 'Leitbetriebe Austria' as leading businesses and as such are recognised companies that do not focus on short-term gains but rather sustainable success. They drive forward development in their region and sector, as well as take responsibility for society and the environment.
